What process in animals serves the same goal as photosynthesis does in algae? I think it's aerobic/cellular respiration because it's basically the reverse of photosynthesis, but it's goal is to make ATP for the organism. My only problem is that animals aren't the only ones to do this, right? I'm pretty sure algae do it, too. Sp could it be digestion? Or is it aerobic respiration and I'm just overthinking it?

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

yes its aerobic respiration

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Agreed ^
