as the limit x approaches 2 for f(x)=(x^3-8)/(x^4-16) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we know x cant be 2. so we have to factor this out and cancel terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i factor the denominator to cancel terms though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x^2+4)(x^2-4) then you can factor the x^2-4 again as (x+2)(x-2)
