Ok, So this is how I think it should be done -

For example lets say I have to subtract 2 -

2 - 2/5.. Well, I take 1 from the whole number and make that a fraction of the denominator. In this case - 5/5. so I subtract 5/5 - 2/5 ( + 1 because we cant forget we took 1 from two! ) = 1 3/5.. IS THIS CORRECT OR NOT. If not, I would appreciate it if you explain the correct way. Thank you :)
