Describe where the electrons are in an atom, where they have the lowest energy, and where they have the highest energy.

OpenStudy (gudden):

the outermost.electron..

OpenStudy (gudden):

since...the force of attraction of the nucleus to that electron would be less... and as a result.. the electron would have more energy... when compared with the electron which is packed near the nucleus in an atom
