They declared war on Japan because Japan ordered an attack on Pearl harbors naval fleet because Japan thought the U.S. was planning an attack on them, they ordered Kamikazi's to bomb Pearl harbor, this day was tragic, they let the cannons of one of the ships I believe the U.S.S Missouri stick out of the water as rememberance.
