I need help with my homework assignment on Graphing Linear Functions!

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

where is the function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will post the function, hold on. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Functions are: y = x +4 y = 3x y = 2x - 1 y = -3x + 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What exactly do you need us to do with them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first one, I have the x-values, 5 -3 0 2 But I need help graphing it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well basically x is side to side, y is up and down. If the equation is like y=x+4 and you know that the x value is 5, then you'd just put it in the place of the x. y=(5)+4 9=5+4 so you'd put a point at (5,9) or five to the right and 9 up.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okie. I sort of got that, but I was just confused by the format. Thanks. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well what are you confused about on the format? I don't want you to go into a test or something confused.
