The Cask of Amontillado: How has Poe described the characters to make them seem like real people?
@beccaboo333 I was thinking like he gave them human like characteristics. For example, verbal irony. Montresor said one thing, but meant another, this is something people do everyday, Also, he gave them human emotions that the readers connected to. For example, the readers connected to the emotions of revenge. montresor wanted the revenge because Fortunato insulted him, something all people can relate too as well. Am I on the right track?
