c. 8 can i get a medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you want to know how i got the answer and your welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya that would be great

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so basically a GCF stands for Great Common Factor and that mean a number that is divisible by the both number in this case 24 and 80 so the greatest one would be 8 because 8 goes into both number and equally so when you divide you don't get decimal but with 12 and 24 you get decimals that is why 8 is the GCF but if they asked for the LCF which is least conman factor then it would be 4 cause it's the smallest number

thank you so much that really helped
