Omg my fav book. Okay so they're treating him extremely nice, in front of him. Really they don't like him because of his color but are planning on using him, like when they blame him for stealing. They're pretending to be his friend when in reality there just looking for someone to take the blame, and since TJ is blacking its more of a Joke. They think this is funny
