Can someone help me please? Fill in the missing reasons to complete the proof. Given:

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

I don't understand how you go from statement 1 to statement 2.

Idk thats how my question was given to me ...

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Is this a question from a book, and the figure and the given and prove statements as well as all the statements and reasons are copied exactly as shown?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

I can't login, so I can't see it. Whenever I see a problem involving writing a proof, I try to figure out how the proof can be written without looking at the statements and reasons supplied. I try to use logic and all the definitions, axioms, and theorems I know to figure out which statements and reasons will get me from the given to the prove. Based on the given info, I can't figure out how to write this proof. Also, as I mentioned, I don't see how you can go from statement 1 to statement 2. The reason doesn't make sense to me.

Oh well thanks for trying to help tho :)

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

After thinking about it some more, I can tell you that this proof, with only the given information given, cannot be proved. In fact. I can come up with a figure with the same given info in which UT is not equal to UW.

Oh okay thanks :)
