someone help!! ill give u a medal
Which of the following points lie in the solution set to the following system of inequalities? y less than or greater to x - 5 y less than or greater to -x - 4

@MathLegend HELP ME PLSS
@jigglypuff314 help meeeeeee
@mathmale help meeee and @nikato
britney spears help meee
Have u tried plugging ur answers into the actual equation
yes i got postive 1 for X but idk about y im stuck
@nikato
what nikato means is for you to plug points into y ≤ x - 5 y ≤ -x - 4 so for example for (1, 10) you would plug in 1 for x and 10 for y for each and check so (10) ≤ (1) - 5 simplifies to 10 ≤ -4 but 10 is NOT less than -4 therefore A canNot be true
it D? @jigglypuff314
correct! :D
yay! can u help with one more??
sure :)
i got the awnser just dont know if its right
Which of the following points lie in the solution set to the following system of inequalities? y < -3x + 3 y < x + 2
(1, -5) (1, 5) (5, 1) (-1, 5)
my awnser is A @jigglypuff314
u still there ?? @jigglypuff314
yeah, sorry, it is correct! :)
is A right @nikato
i just wanna double check i dont want to get it wrong
