I'd immediately round 527.8 up to 530.  Then I'd round 321.9 down to 320.

Then I'd try to subtract 320 from 530 in my head; I'd get what?  This is NOT the only way in which to approach this problem.

Well, it's closest to d. 210, but I'd say c. 200, is the most reasonable estimate.
