please help me which of these ordered pairs is a solution to the inequality 3x+y>-8 a.)(-3,0) b.)(-2,-1) c.)(0,10) d.)(2,-16)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you gotta plug in all those pairs and see which ones work for example (-3,0) does NOT work because 3*(-3) + 0 = -9 and -9> -8 is false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c pretty clearly works, because 3*0 + 10 = 10 and 10 > -8 is true

thank you so much
