Find a rectangular form of the equation r=25. a.) x+y=25 b.) x^2+y^2=5 c.) x^2+y^2=625 d.) x^2+y^2=25

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

the eqn is in radian form....and it represents a line/curve which is always 25 away from (0,0) so what do u think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its b, but i just wanna be sure.

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

OK good u know its a circle....but the general form of a circle is x^2 + y^2 = r^2 right? what is r in this case?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, so its d?

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

but it is r^2.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c...

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

right :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would have never thought that.

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

at least u never say a ;)
