Find 2A + 3B. ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5 x 5 - (-1 x -1) = A x 2 = 48 6 x 6 - (2.1 x 2.1) = B x 3 = 94.77

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think that's the way to do it. what's the answer say?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait i see i have done it wrong sorry i was thinking of another method. im not actually sure how to do this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Jpeg, shows the possible answer selections. I just don't understand how they want me to do this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you may need agent smith or someone to help you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, is agent smith on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (gorv):

just multiply all element of A by 2 for 2A...... 2A= 10 -2 3B= 18 6.3 -2 10 6.3 18 2A+3B= 10+18 -2+6.3 -2+6.3 10+18 =28 4.3 4.3 28

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice 1 gorv :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would we use 2 for the other similar problems, like this one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or do we just multiply till we figure out what fits??

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

just multiply everything in D by 1.5 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4C ofc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get it...? ok :c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought I was funny :c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is there like a basic procedure here, that I apply to future problems like this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you all of you, I think I got it.

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

welcome
