does anyone know what the difference between adverage speed and instataneous speed is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

average speed tells u a raw idea about the speed of the object in a span of time.....you could stop in between,,move superfast at some other time, and move dead slow at some other point of time.....yet the average speed gives a specific value....and doesnt say anytn about u stopping or moving fast....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

instantaneous speed gives u the precise speed at exactly that instant of time....its the speed read by the speedometer in car

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u have stopped, then speedometer reads 0...if u are moving superfast, the speedometer shows that value of ur "superfast" speed
