Help please? A circular gold fish pool is surrounded by a side-walk. The circumference of the outside of the side-walk is 43.98 feet, and the circumference of the inside of the sidewalk is 31.42 feet. What is the width of the sidewalk?

O.O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find out the inner and the outer radius. The difference will give you the width of the sidewalk.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the formula for finding radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't use the equation editor. Circumference, C = 2*pi*r (where r = radius, pi = 3.14). You know the circumference, solve for "r"

thank you :)
