Yes, the rumors are true. We are going to launch a new version of the Ambassadors program. And to do it in style, we want to recognize all the current and past Ambassadors. We will have a party here - in the Ambassadors study group on Feb 1, 9 am Pacific Time. Come and share your story!
And yes, we will be asking all the current Ambis to reapply. And no, it is not the end of the world! It is a new beginning.
And of course, we love and appreciate our Ambis! Always!

May I ask why current ambassadors will be needing to re apply? Is it because there is a large amount of inactive ambassadors?

That, and the new version comes with new rules and duties, we want to make sure everyone who signs up for this is ready for this new challenge, including the current ambassadors.

As for how long, well, as much as anything else it will just depend on how long it takes me to make two more training videos so we can cover the absolute core ideas and skills we want an ambassador to have. Building on that core will take time, but we need to make sure people come into the program with an awareness of the basics.

I hope dish soap conservation has it's own dedicated section. I cannot stress the importance. We'd fall apart without proper dish washing etiquette.
