Ambi Recognition Party: Need ideas

So we want to recognize the outgoing Ambassadors and thank them. We will have an OpenStudy party for them, Feb 1, 9 am Pacific Time. I am going to put up a link and let you folks tell me some good stories. We'll share the best ones on Feb 1.

But it's not over yet - expect a lot more from recent Ambassadors and I in the future! Always looking to improve OpenStudy!

We could hold a GeoMeeting, or a group chat, so Ambassadors could get on webcam with each other and just talk!

Eh it pains me not to be there but I may not make it, maybe I'll be able to get one for a few just to say goodbyes since I'm thinking of just retiring fully from OS :/

@Ja1, you're a brilliant Ambassador. You won't have a problem becoming one again! We're all starting over, but with this time a more firm and concrete foundation :)

I understand how you feel @JA1. I have wanted to retire at a point as well. However, I think what we need to realize is that we simply need a break. It is okay and beneficial to take breaks from OpenStudy. I have no problem doing so. If you are busy with rl or just simply need a mental break just take it. Do not feel guilty about taking it either. I take breaks as well because you can come back refreshed when you are ready. I rather come back rejuvenated and willing to be online then to sit here like a mannequin.

Albeit the point isn't that I am leaving because of the amby program being resuscitated (a much needed resuscitation may I add) it's simply that out of the last 8 months I have probably been on a total of 7 hours.... that's pretty pathetic in my opinion and if I do decide to come back (much like @MathLegend stated) I wouldn't be on here half as much as when I was in FLVS and my ambassador duties would go about unperformed and awaiting to be undergone. All in all I might not retire fully but as for ambassadorship I probably will...although who knows, the future has a way of deceiving our best thought out plans.

I will definitely be able to attend…can't wait to see you all there (at least, the individuals who are attending. I like this idea because I feel like its a finally termination of the old, celebrating what existed and welcoming what is to come at the same time.

okay, so I just looked at the application… I'm fine with mostly everything, but for the picture ID… Does it need to have birthday and address? O_O because i can just tell you my birthday and address, i don't have any photo id's with all that info.

My photo ID only have my picture, name, grade, and school i go to. Is that sufficient?
