first correct answer will get a medal!!! which of the following has a slope of -2 and a y-intercept of 4? a.)y=2x+4 b.)y=-2x+4 c.)y=-2x-4 d.)y=2x-4
I NEED help
each equation is in slope intercept form... y = mx + b "m" is your slope "b" is your y-intercept So which is your answer?
i got A because i did Y=-2x+4 and i got 2 for my answer
You should have gotten B ...there is nothing to do to the equation other than look at it and see what takes the place of 'm' and what takes the place of 'b' so y = mx + b Answer choice B is y = -2x + 4 Compare them...it looks like m = -2 and b = 4 ...showing that B is the correct answer
ooooo ok i see i was confused about this lesson so now i understand it, you don't try to solve it ok know i understand you just put the mx and b in their places got it thank you sooooo much
Right :) And you're welcome!
