HELP PLEASE MEDALS! . Robin's family breeds Great Danes. In the last litter, one of the puppies grew at an unusually consistent rate. At birth, he weighed two pounds. At eight months, he weighed 110 pounds. In a linear model of this situation, which of the following statements applies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. An additional month of growth is associated with an additional 13.5 pounds of weight. B. An additional month of growth is associated with an additional 8 pounds of weight. C. An additional month of growth is associated with an additional 14 pounds of weight. D. An additional month of growth is associated with an additional 13.75 pounds of weight.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

if its linear you need to find the slope... that is the rate of change in the weight you have 2 data points (0, 2) and (8, 110) so the slope is change in weight/change in time and you will have the weight gain per month... hope it helps

So it's B?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

nope its not B just do the calculation (110 - 2)/(8 - 0)=
