A runner ran at a rate of 0.12 mile per minute for 50 minutes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday and Saturday the runner ran 0.14mile per minute for 60 minutes, and on Sunday the ran 0.08 mile per minute for 1hour 30minutes. What was the total mileage the runner covered during the week?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d = rt d = (.12)(50) d = 6 * 3weekdays = 18miles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Monday + Wednesday + Friday = 0.12 x 50 x 3 = 18 miles. Tuesday + Saturday = 0.14 x 60 x 2 = 16.8 miles. Sunday = 0.08 x 90 = 7.2 miles. ADD = 42 miles.
