.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(A=b\cdot h\) \(P=2l+2w\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind. did you draw the parallelogram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it is a rhombus, then the perimeter is just 4 times the length of a side. (A rhombus has 4 sides of the same length). The area is just the base (length of a side) times the height (the vertical distance from a vertex to the base).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unfortunately, the drawing tool isn't working for me or i'd draw you a picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a kite is not a parallelogram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can check by computing the distance between the points which make up a side. do you know the distance formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow, the equation editor isn't working either. just a sec...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is a link to help you with the distance formula... http://www.purplemath.com/modules/distform.htm i'll see if i can find one for finding the area of a rhombus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i can't do more but it's a bit difficult when i'm unable to draw and write equations. let me see if i can find another...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dear, this is not for me to do... it's for you to do. i'm only here to help you learn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and you never will unless you do the work.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Area=b*h

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Do you now get how do do it?
