for question number 1 equation of a circle is (x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2 when point (h, k) is the center. so when (-1, -5) is the center plug in -1 for h and -5 for k and 6 for r into (x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2
