An electric field of 239,000 N/C points due west at a certain spot. What are the magnitude and direction of the force that acts on a charge of -6.95 µC at this spot?

OpenStudy (farcher):

magnitude of the force is charge x electric field strength where the charge is measured in coulombs not micro coulombs so do the conversion. direction of force is the same as the electric field if it is a positive charge and in the opposite direction if it is a negative charge
