what is one way that machines make work easier?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you don't have to look thru all of your textbooks to ask for the answer to a question like this

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

less force, longer distance or shorter distance, more force :}

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

or changing the direction...

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

-if i remember correctly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Machines make work easier by providing extra help with specific jobs, depending on what the machine was built for. For instance a jack will make changing your car tire easier by adding force on one end to make lifting the car easier so you can change the tire. To be honest that question is pretty vague and has a WIIIIIIIIIIDE range of answers.

farmers have it a ton easier with the cotton gin and whatnot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Washing machine and dishwashers.....no brainer lol

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

or.....if you have a box you need to put on a truck, a simple machine called a ramp can easily do that for you...[less force more distance]

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

just PUSH!

yups
