Problem Solving: You need to help people and answer their questions, and it is better is you get medals from those people.

Teamwork: I'm not super sure what counts toward these points.

Engagement: This score raises when you are more active on the site. This could mean asking questions and coming on here everyday.

Eat chicken: You cannot solve questions to get medals and fans while on an empty stomach!!!

You can get points simply by:

Asking questions
Answering questions.
Getting medals
Giving medals (not 100% sure about that)
Giving testimonials
Getting testimonials.
Fanning people.
Getting fanned. 
Logging in, and contributing with OS users.
