(5) A city like Chicago has always been known for its delicious meat-based cuisine. (6) That is fast changing, though, as gourmet vegetarian dining is finding tremendous popularity even among die-hard meat eaters. (7) The best change of all, though, is in people's attitudes. (8) My friends don't tease me about my diet like they used to, and even my parents quit trying to put chicken or fish on my plate. (9) I think it just took them a while to get used to the idea.
