Anyone wanna teach me how to do LaTeX?
I read e.mccormicks basic tutorial first. That is a good place to start. And then when you have a question about somethin you just ask someone who is really good at LaTeX :)
there a lots of great tutorials posted as pervious questions (some in the open section, some in the closed section)
\(\sf\Large\color{salmon}{I'm~finally~learning~how~to~do~LaTeX} \) How do i get LaTeX to wrap? Is that even possible? \(\frak\large\color{forestgreen} {This ~is~taking~forever~to ~code ~this~and ~learn~different~fonts}\) \(\Huge\ddot\smile\) How do i get my smiley faces to change color? Also what are the different font and size and color commands?
I found these fonts thanks to annas \(\Huge\color{red}{♥~Thanks~Annas~♥}\) Command Declaration \textrm \rmfamily Roman family \textsf \sffamily Sans serif family \texttt \ttfamily Typewriter family \textup \upshape Upright shape \textit \itshape Italic shape \textsl \slshape Slanted shape \textsc \scshape Small caps shape \textmd \mdseries Medium series \textbf \bfseries Boldface series The sizes of fonts used in LaTeX are can be determined and changed by means of the control sequences \tiny, \scriptsize, \footnotesize, \small, \normalsize, \large, \Large, \LARGE, \huge and \HUGE I have found my answer to different sizes and font but not color. Can someone help with that? @AccessDenied @Luigi0210 @SolomonZelman @thomaster
There are 2 ways to create colored text, by using predefined colors or hexadecimal color codes The syntax is always: \(\bf\color{red}{\backslash(}\color{green}{\backslash color\{\color{#8C00FF }{color}\}\{\color{blue}{text}\}}\color{red}{\backslash)}\) So for example `\(\Large\color{red}{hello}\)` will be \(\Large\color{red}{hello}\)
With hexadecimal colors it would be `\(\Large\color{#FF2E00}{hello}\)`
Ohhhhh ok i see what i need to do for the predefined color but with hexadecimal colors what are the codes for those? \(\Large\color{purple}{Thanks~Thomaster}~\Huge\color{green}{\ddot\smile}\)
Go to this site: http://www.color-hex.com/ You can pick any of those codes from there and put it instead of the predefined color. That way you can make over 16 million different colors :D
@_@ that website
\(\it\normalsize\color{#95e364}{How~do~i~underline~and~strike~though?}\)
Also i wanna know how to do simple fractions and equations using LaTeX
Well I wrote a part about that in my tutorial http://openstudy.com/updates/52e12f56e4b0942cc9de719e
\[\huge \mathbb{\color{red}{WHATCHA'}~~\color{green}{NEED}~~\color{purple}{ALLEY?}~~\color{navy}{ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) }}\]
\(\Huge\color{blue}\bigstar\) \(\it\Huge\color{#aee0e8}{I~got~it~now~Hey~Sus}\) \(\Huge\color{#ff7bac }{\ddot\smile}\) \(\sf\huge\color{red}{♥~Thanks~anyways~♥}\)
All dat fancy latex~
\( \Huge {ლ(ಠ_ಠლ)} \)
Yea, any faces that have "_" don't work sadly :(
Lol yeah i see that xD
\(\cal\LARGE\underline{Yes~all~this~fancy~Latex}\) Question? how do i change the color when i underline it? i have been trying this whole time and i cant get it.
Now that LaTex works, gotta catch up on it xD
\( \tt\large\color {gold} {I~finally~figured~out~how~to ~put~spaces~between~words!} \)
Now i don't have to code every word separately xD
\( \frak\huge\color {#6d0404} {This~font~is~cool~} \)
\(\Huge \color{green} {\ddot\smile}\)
