Seems you have a bit of an addiction on your hand, you should try implementing a rewards program for yourself by only getting on OS if your homework is done, albeit this can only be done with a strong mind :)

We've all been there but why don't you try using it for good, in other words use OpenStudy to help you do your homework, now you get both sides satisfied :D

Haha Cx I used to be like that, spending so much time on OS, that I lacked in my own work. The only way to get over this, -which is what I did- is to TRY stop using this for a couple of weeks. and in that couple weeks the addiction will get away c;

I think you should distinguish what it is that's keeping you stuck on Open Study.
If you're just chit chatting all day with people in the chat box, then it's certainly not really worth your time.

But if you're addicted to helping people and enjoy explaining things and problem solving, that's a good addiction to have.
Consider that it also helps to keep those basic math concepts REALLY fresh in your understanding of them. Even if it seems like the more basic stuff doesn't apply to what you're currently working on in math, I'll bet it helps in ways that you don't realize. :o

I'm addicted to OpenStudy, honestly I love this site and helping so many people. But what I do is keep tabs open for my school work. So it's a constant reminder that I must do that as well. So I alternate back and forth doing school work, and helping people. Seems to pass time by faster too. But if you attend public school, try alternating like I do. One full assignment to complete, then a few to help on OS. It might make it easier as well as tending to your addiction. :D
