Anyways, if you want to estimate it then you should round 8 1/3 to 8 and 2 4/5 to 3. Can you do 8 times 3?

To find the actual product, you have to convert 8 1/3 and 2 4/5 to an improper fraction. You can do this by multiplying the whole number part by the fraction's denominator. Add that to the numerator and then write the result on top of the denominator. Multiply the fractions normally.
