Can anyone help me learn Russian?

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

- you could download an app..

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

I would recommend Duolingo

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Duolingo, if I am correct, does not have Russian.

http://www.learningrussian.net/ http://www.gefix.net/sazov/ When you look for other resources, ones by schools or translation companies tend to use the most standard language. News reports and magazine articles also tend to be more standard sources. Music and other forms of entertainment are not that great to start with because they can have a lot of non-standard accents, slang, and so on. Imagine someone learning English with a combination of Gangster Rap and some southern fishing show. They would have the strangest English accent and terrible grammar.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Oh, and those are audio lessons and a textbook. Really good place to start.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

я не могу говорить на русском, я посмотрел это вверх ;)

OpenStudy (somy):

Best way is to learn vocab and actually talk it but russian grammar is very hard and its also important because with no grammar you will make no sense
