I've recently returned to Mac with the 6 hours of Eclipse googling at my back and managed to actually get my program to work on Mac. So I kind of want to punch something but alas. My new problem is "Wrong JPEG library version: library is 80, caller expects 62" I seem to be using jpeg6b and based on google there are about 3 different numbers that float about and i have no idea how to get library to 62.

(Still a problem but on Windows: I am having difficulties with Eclipse CDT with MinGW and jpeglib.h. My code doesn't recognize jpeg_create_compress and the like and I can't figure out how to build the paths correctly so that it can find these functions.)

On the Mac, it sounds like you're on v62, but you need to get to v80.  Are you current on your updates?  If this is the only JPEG that this program is going to deal with, Photoshop or GIMP should be able to save it back to v62.
