OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Notice all of the values except one are all around 55. You'd want a number in the middle... which do you think will be a better middle estimate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mean (average) - (52 + 58 + 53 + 57 + 91) / 5 = 62.2 Median (middle)- 57 Mode - None. Range - 91 - 52 = 39. So, the answer is "median".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

median

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Yep, since the mean will get affected by the 91, the median won't.
