i have to write a menoir about a interesting topic that happens in peoples lives i need a nice template?

Do you mean a memoir? Well, there are lots of interesting topics relating to people's lives. You can make a lot out of seemingly uninteresting topics. It's all about how you portray and show them. Kind of like a painting. Two people's subject can be the same tree. One draws the tree with crayons and the other paints her. The tree, of course will look different in each.

How about:
Birth - I'd skip this.
First Love
Childhood
A relative moving in
Growing up
First year in school - that would be cute, I'm sure and you can blame bad spelling on trying to make it seem realistic.
Death of a loved one - this could be really intriguing
Work
Friends
A cancer patient's memoir - this if done right could be a gripping and emotional story.

I'd stick with the normal story arc as far as plot goes, but you could put in a few twists and turns or go for something unexpected. So here's an idea: Told in an 8 year old kid named Catie's point of view. Her little brother Wren who is four is dying of cancer. Their parents are drug addicts. The mom is abusive and the dad is careless and rarely there. She has an imaginary friend who helps her through it. (I thought it could spice the story up a bit).
