ok, there's no one answering my question in like, 5 other subjects, so I thought that pasting this was a good idea...Has anyone read the Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck that can answer my question? "What kind of welcome does the lawman give Ma? How does she respond?" and this is a question for the chapters 11-25.
not trying to be smart but its called google
Don' t you think I would've tried that? I'm not that dumb. I'm ON the internet right now, after all.
True
Is ma black and is this in 1930ish era
um, no hahah this is the great depression
idk if that's 1930
thats they 1930 4 yah lol and is she black or not?
uh, they don't really tell us... she's the backbone of the family, tho, and has a lot of sass and if she falls, everyone in the family follows. She's like their support.
It's about a migrant worker family btw
Do u maybe know anyone you could send my way if you're not sure yourself? It's a pretty specific question, so...idk, I'm having a lot of trouble with it :)
Um, what does the lawman say to her exactly?
if google doesn't work, try looking in the relevant section of the book it is probably only a couple pages
Uhm, there are a lot of lawmen, and so I tried to find provacative ones, or ones that ushered the Joads into somewhere, but...I can't find one... and yes, I tried the relevant thing...:(
Okay so this took place in chapter's 11-25, right?
yes
I'm gonna see if they have an e-book.
found one^^
That's the one I just found, LOL.
Still looking through the chapters..
Do you have any guess of what chapters it could be?
T.T no...
but it probably should be after chapter 16
ish
Incentives; if we answer extraneous questions, we'll get more.
