Whichever interests you more. Vietnam is more current, though, and we have vets dealing with PTSD from the war.

I would have to recommend World War II because it was one of the most controversial wars in history. I know a lot about both Vietnam and World War II and I know that we won World War II, but not necessarily won Vietnam. It is your choice, I am more knowledgeable of WW2, and I think that you should follow up on that.
