if u have a problem with it, ur a moderator, right? u can delete it... but i dont see why she couldnt post this. she wanted someone to talk to and no one really pays attention to new people in the chats.

Csscgirl, the forums are for academic (i.e., in the math group, math related) discussions only. Like classrooms at school. If the forums are full of just chat and spam, no one will be able to find the math questions anymore.

OpenStudy provides chat rooms for each subject for the 'social' in 'social learning'.

^ Agreed about the chat rooms being full of - nonsense. I mean, how often do you see me in there? Some chats are more active than others - users have had very quiet, very nice small group discussions in the less frequented chats, such as chem or bio.

alright. thanks... next time i or snoopy wants to talk, we'll ask people to go to the chem or bio or writing(which is also really quiet right now) to talk. thanks for the advice.
