From what I can see, if you look at both, the the length of each "side" of the smaller one is exactly 1/2 the length of the larger one. Meaning, the larger ones "sides" are all double the length of the smaller one.

"Two shapes are Similar if the only difference is size (and possibly the need to turn or flip one around)." So, yes, these are similar.
