Okay, can someone please help me with this math question and about like 3 other questions after this? Bob drove 408 miles using 16 gallons of gas. At this rate, how many miles would he drive using 11 gallons of gas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I came up with 280.5 408/16=25.5 25.5*11=280.5

What are the other questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

280.5 is right(: and the next question is There is a sales tax of $6 on an item that costs $88 before tax. The sales tax on a second item is $21 . How much does the second item cost before tax?

Sorry I have to go, bye. Maybe somebody else can help you. Just try to work it out in a way that makes sense.
