i'm trying to memorize the arrangement of unit conversion starting from "Yotta-" to "Yocto" anyone knows any good mnemonic to memorize this? thanks :)
memorize femto to peta, then expand slowly. I personaly don't know after peta and before femto, but it's a good start.
ok i'll try, i'm really not good at memorizing (^_^)
well most people should know nano to giga. if you do start fromt here.
don't start on the small end or the big end. just expand slowly in both directions is basically what I'm saying. I learned slowly over time. petabytes is on the order of google's servers, while exabytes is greater than or equal to the magnitude of the internet. femtoseconds are the speed of which substeps of chemical reactions happen.
Terra to picto is plenty
I know nano to tera and i'm slowly "absorbing" the rest of them, but i keep switching some of the prefixes XD
also I find it helpful to remember them in pairs, like deci and deca centi and hecto mili and kilo micro and mega nano and giga pico and tera femto and peta etc
i am studying nuclear science; atoms to stars, even still, the extreme prefixed are vary rarely encountered is more likely to see 10^{...}
hmm.. maybe i can use that method @inkyvoyd thanks! @UnkleRhaukus you're a college student ? nice! after high school i'm planning towards engineering or science too if i will get any admission :)
yeah i'm part way thought my first degree at the university of wollongong, GO SCIENCE!
lol (^_^)
