would you read a book if the epilogue started like this? :
I live in a world that barely survived WWIII. We only eat the food that was prepackaged when my grandparents were children. There are rumors that the government is almost out of it. The USA has recovered enough that those people with enough money to can send their children to a school that teaches the art of espionage.
I am one of those children.

I love it, this plot and beginning is wonderful! Have you heard of a technique called "Show, Don't Tell" in writing? It'd work well with what you're writing. :) Here's a definition since I'm horrible at explaining, "...is a technique often employed in various kinds of texts to enable the reader to experience the story through action, words, thoughts, senses, and feelings rather than through the author's exposition, summarization, and description."
