Poem: Broken Hearted

Broken Hearted….


To see you leave me for five years
Makes my eyes, rain some tears
You left me alone broken hearted
Soon after three days I departed
I felt as if I was forgotten;
Packed my bag and a carton
Went to the door and saw the loneliness;
Suddenly heard some shouts, and boldness;
I felt as if I would die
Went back to bed and closed my eyes
In my dream I saw a child
Hunting through the forest like a wild
I opened my eyes, sighed and cried
Thanked the God, for it was only a Dream…
Suddenly remembered what happened last night
I thought the world very cruel
Killing people like a fool
I heard a knock on my door;
Rushed to it like a four
Saw that it was you back!
I fainted as if I died….

I liked it a lot, though I was a bit confused at times. It's truly beautiful. It's hard to describe how I felt while I was reading this. Kind of like a fleeting vivid image was lingering in the back of my mind.

Well, I'm the type of person who likes the full story... You know? Like where was the one who left going for five years? Why? and is the narrator going to the same place since ze's packing bags or to a different place? Why was the narrator dreaming of a child hunting? And sometimes it was hard for me to connect the dots, but I got the gist of it. And the line: like a four o_0. Ignore me, though. I nitpick too much.

Packing bags to go to a different place of course
Dream of child hunting: natural dream
