I think psychology would be the best category for this... Okay, so please no one tell me I'm childish or stupid or anything. I know it all too well. So I'm almost fourteen now. I had a white stuffed bear with little light pink spots named Snowbell since I was 7 or 8. I would take her nearly everywhere with me and loved her so much so she got all dirty and not soft, but I still loved her just as much. She was my best friend. Well, we went to Disney World when I was ten years old. I accidentally left her in the hotel. I didn't notice 'til two days later that she was gone. So I was sad for awhile

After her I never would get attached to stuffed animals or people and every time I would think about her I'd feel downcast and sometimes cry even when I was older. At about 11 and a half of so I stopped thinking of her so much. She was just a fond memory, but the effects lasted. I would never attach myself or let myself get too close to people. I was estranged. I would have fun and be kind, but never could someone get close to me. I didn't want to lose them. Then we got two new puppies. I let one of them in my heart. She was the first person/animal that I really allowed myself to love. For a year she was my puppy. I loved her so much. Then my mom said four dogs were too much and the other dogs bullied her so we had to give the two puppies away. I didn't care much that we gave the other away, but she was my baby. Now every time I see a stuffed animal I see Snowbell who 4 years ago was lost and start crying over Snowbell or get all depressed. Help please! I can't keep living mourning over a lost toy. No, a lost friend. Please I don't know what to do. I can't be in the same room as a stuffed animal without my heart breaking.

If someone could please help me with this? I know it sounds childish and trivial, but I really don't know what to do and just seeing stuffed animals, especially bears hurts my heart. I need to get over this.
