What might happen if a species disappears from an ecosystem? A. All species in the ecosystem will be affected. B. The abiotic factors in the ecosystem will not be affected. C. The predators of the species might have more food to eat. D. The preys of the species might decrease in number. I'm guessing It's A, or D, but can someone give me a second opinion?

@Mertsj

OpenStudy (petiteme):

A for me...

OpenStudy (petiteme):

The ecosystem will be unbalanced. If one specie will disappear, another specie will be affected because remember that there is an energy flow. One specie depends on another specie.

OpenStudy (petiteme):

I hope I make sense :/

OpenStudy (gudden):

A... according to me... cuz it indirectly contains the points B , C and D also..
