Two trucks left Buck's Trucks traveling in opposite directions. One truck traveled at a rate of 70 km/h, the other at 80 km/h. After how many hours were the trucks 900 km apart?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Trucks are traveling at 70 km / hour and 80 / km hour, 180° from each other. Therefore, trucks are separating at (70+80) = 150 km/hour. When will distance be 900 km? 900 km / (150 km / hour) = 6 hours.

OpenStudy (icalibear):

Oh okay thanks

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

u r welcome
