help me solve 4x - 6 < 3x - 1

OpenStudy (nikato):

Oooo, are u a fan of the originals? 1. Add 6 to both sides

OpenStudy (gudden):

@hayleywolf .. first of all add 6 to both the sides and then add -3x to both the sides.. and u would get ur answer..

OpenStudy (nikato):

So 4x-6<3x-1 +6. +6 ------------ 4x. <3x+5 -3x. -3x ------------ x< ?

OpenStudy (gudden):

we are gonna do so.. cuz eliminating the values on each side would make our task easy...
