'Waves carry energy of any form'..Is this mean that waves actually can carry energy in any shape and structure?
@ganeshie8 and @wio
Well, first of all... All that energy really is, is another way of calculating the mass and velocity of matter. We classify it into things like thermal, sound, light, and kinetic energy, but all of these things on a microscopic level are just moving particles.
yes..i know it .but the particles actually moves with the mass and velocity..like u said...but some times particles don't move it just moves the energy and momentum of it..
in which case?
The point here isn't so much that 'waves can do amazing things', the point is to define what a wave is.
i have the definition of wave but i need to know ...what they really mean by this line that waves carry energy of any form...does it mean it carries the energy with any shape?
in any shape?
How do you define form, shape, or structure? I think they mean any classification of energy. This would mean heat, sound, kinetic, etc.
thanks i needed ti know that :)
