Is this correct? Point A is located at (0, 4) and point C is located at (−3, 5). Find the x value for point B that is located one over four the distance from point A to point C. I chose -0.75? @tkhunny

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Let's see... A: (0,4) C: (-3,5) ¼ from A to C. We are weighting A 75% and C 25%. x-coordiante: ¼(-3) + ¾(0) = -¾ = -0.75 I think you have it!!

Yay and this one...... Which statement belongs in the Area section of the Venn Diagram? The distance around a closed figure The space or region of a closed figure Each side length is found Measured in units Choice D?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

What is "Measured in Units"? That doesn't mean anything. Generally, "Area" needs to be a space, not a distance or a line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I didnt think any of the options were correct but thats all we got

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait I read the question wrong its "The space or region of a closed figure"

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

:-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lot of math questions are missed by simple errors because we don't focus or mistype something(i'm do it too)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol I know... also can you @fiberdust correct one of mine if im wrong??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The area?? I think its 25.8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not very good at area but when i cut it into a parrelgram and triangle i don't get 25.8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24.6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

parrellogram is bh and triangle is 1/2(bh)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok and the perimeter for this would be 39?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no but your close

OpenStudy (anonymous):

38? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!!!!
