How can you compose a song? :)

depends on if your trying to write lyrics forst or music....id start w lyrics then think about a melody..later incorporate some sounds you like and walla its a song

If you want to get technical you can find a chord progression you like and write lyrics to it with how ever many verses, choruses, or bridges/breakdowns you would like. But if this is pure passion there doesn't have to be rules, or even poetic structure. You can use whatever form you like to fit the mood of the song and even mix up structures to your liking. I've written few songs I've liked but it's about writing and erasing and rewriting and reerasing til you have milked your heart for every bit of melodic juice it can produce. Just be free with it! :D
